CD Racks

The Rack!I put this rack together because what I had in western Massachusetts was crap. We were using little crates and boxes and a whole lotta hope that the cats wouldn't dump the mess over with any regularity.

These are the first of the actual pieces of furniture that came through the door from my reestablished shop.

The outer frames of the sides are made of oak with an inset panel of American tulipwood which was found in Kym's late grandfather's cellar. The shelves, top and corbels are all tulipwood. The wood looks nice, and finished well, but this lumber revealed it's true beauty in another project. The finishing materials, like sandpaper, glue and that stuff, blades and replacement chisels (for the ones that took a dive off the truck) were all bought on home depot gift certificates. Thanks, guys.
